KARACHI: Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Zaidi on Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is arriving in Karachi on Sunday with a “good news”, ARY News reported.
Talking to media at the airport, the minister said that Karachi’s development is on top of PTI government’s agenda, adding that the PM will arrive in the city with a good news.
“He (the PM) will himself announce that good news,” said Ali Zaidi.
Answering media queries, Ali Zaidi said that he will soon hold a press conference to highlight corruption in Maritime Ministry during the previous regimes.
The minister yesterday met Naval chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi and appreciated the development of maritime sector and contribution of Pak Navy in world maritime peace.
Navel chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi had also highlighted the capabilities of maritime sector during the meeting.
